Michael Ceraso

founder & Executive Director

Michael has over a decade of experience in electoral campaigns and political advocacy.  Michael started his career as a City Coordinator for Greenpeace in Los Angeles and Philadelphia before joining the 2008 Obama presidential campaign team in New Mexico. Between 2009 and 2011, Ceraso worked on several city council and state senate races in New York and Washington D.C. before he rejoined Obama’s campaign team in New Hampshire as the Deputy Field Director. Michael's experience also includes Program Director for Airbnb, New Hampshire Deputy State Director and California State Director for Bernie Sanders. After working on Capitol Hill as a Policy Researcher, Michael partnered with the South Carolina Democratic Party to manage campaigns in rural communities and small towns across the state for several special election candidates. His focus on bringing resources to underfunded candidates in underserved communities is the reason why Winning Margins' was created.

 

Eugene K. Chow

Senior Advisor & Co-Founder

Eugene brings a decade of experience as a speechwriter, journalist, and communications strategist to Winning Margins. As acting chief speechwriter for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, he helped manage major crises including protests over police violence, disease outbreaks, and fallen NYPD officers. He began his career as a deputy regional field director on President Obama’s 2008 campaign, before serving as a research assistant at the Center for a New American Security. Eugene’s writing has appeared in CNN Money, New York Daily News, The Diplomat, National Interest, Huffington Post, and Crain’s. Most recently, he was the senior writer for the Robin Hood Foundation, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization, where he helped produce a Webby-winning short video.

With nonprofit, governmental, campaign and start-up experience, Linda Serrato Ybarra has led campaigns and communications operations to convey the story of people fighting for a better future. Linda worked with ballot initiative campaigns in six states to successfully raise the minimum wage in 2016. In the past she's also worked with Los Angeles city leaders and directly with voters across the nation as a campaigner for Secretary Clinton’s and, later, President Obama's 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns. she proudly works toward equality in our nation from economic to educational issues.

Tanner is a dedicated political professional from southern california. After high school, he entered the workforce in the sales industry, eventually becoming an Account Executive for Newegg Business. Tanner decided to return to school to pursue a career in communications. Currently, he lives in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Tanner has completed multiple degrees in Political Science, public policy, and Communication Studies.
