Quentin is founder and president of The Collective.

Quentin James is the founder and president of The Collective as well as the co-founder of Vestige Strategies LLC. The Collective is a network of five affiliated organizations (The Collective PAC, The Collective Super PAC, Elect Black Democrats Super PAC, Collective Future and The Collective Education Fund) working to dismantle structural barriers to Black political participation and power through education, advocacy, fundraising, endorsements and electioneering.

Before launching the Collective in 2016, Quentin led a team of Vestige Strategies’ consultants in securing victory for Dr. Keith Rowley as Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago. Previously, Quentin was the Black Americans director for the Ready for Hillary PAC. In that role, he directed the PAC’s nationwide outreach to the Black community and helped recruit more than 50,000 Black grassroots donors and more than three million grassroots supporters.

A Greenville, South Carolina, native, Quentin formerly served as national director for the Sierra Club’s Sierra Student Coalition, the nation’s largest youth environmental organization. He is also a former national board member for the NAACP and the founder of Inclusv, a diversity hiring initiative.
